Harrison Festival Society Concerts
For the past twenty years
the Harrison Festival Society has presented a “Season of Performing
Arts" between September and May in Harrison Hot Springs.
Each year the Festival puts on an incredible season with performers
ranging from Murray McLauchlan to the Wailin Jenny's making a stop in
Harrison Hot Springs.
The Season consists of ten to twelve shows featuring local, national and
international performers bringing their special gifts and talents to
this small community. The Society's principle venue is the Harrison
Memorial Hall. The "Hall" is not fancy but it is a funky little venue
with great acoustics. Best of all, if you are staying at Harrison
Heritage House the hall is right across the street.
Plan your next weekend
getaway around one of the following concerts. Tickets are

When you see
April Verch perform, the first thing that strikes you is

you in are more subtle things—her pure voice, the finely
detailed elegance of her fiddle phrasing and the depth
of a repertoire that ranges through material from
bluegrass to Brazilian to Celtic, from a jaunty Canadian
folksong to a poignant contemporary ballad.
